Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long does a vehicle wrap typically last?

A professionally installed vehicle wrap using quality materials from 3M or Avery Dennison typically lasts 5 to 7 years with proper care. Longevity depends on sun exposure, washing methods, and daily use. At SIGNHAUS, we use certified installation techniques to maximize durability and performance in the Tri-Cities climate

  • What's the difference between a full and partial vehicle wrap?

A full wrap covers the entire vehicle surface, while a partial wrap covers specific sections like doors, hoods, or side panels. Partial wraps cost less and work well for targeted branding. Both options provide mobile advertising and are custom-designed to match your brand identity and marketing goals.
  • Can window graphics be seen from inside the building?

Perforated vinyl window graphics allow visibility from inside while displaying bold graphics outside. Full-coverage vinyl blocks the view but maximizes visual impact. At SIGNHAUS, we help businesses choose the right material based on privacy needs, branding goals, and storefront visibility in the Tri-Cities area.
  • What affects the cost of commercial signage?

Cost depends on sign size, material type, complexity of design, and installation requirements. Outdoor signs using weather-resistant materials typically cost more than indoor options. Custom fabrication, lighting elements, and permits also influence pricing. SIGNHAUS provides end-to-end service from design through installation for accurate estimates.
  • How quickly can custom banners be produced?

Custom banners can often be completed with quick turnaround options for time-sensitive projects like grand openings or seasonal promotions. Timing depends on size, quantity, and design complexity. At SIGNHAUS, we prioritize fast production without sacrificing quality, especially for urgent campaigns in Pasco and surrounding areas.
  • What does CWI certified wrap installer mean?

CWI stands for Certified Wrap Installer through Avery Dennison, a rigorous certification ensuring expert-level application techniques. Certified installers are trained to handle complex curves, seams, and material properties for flawless, long-lasting results. At SIGNHAUS, our CWI certification guarantees precision and durability on every vehicle wrap project.
  • Are wall murals suitable for textured surfaces?

Wall murals can be installed on lightly textured surfaces, though smoother walls provide the best results for clarity and adhesion. Heavy textures may require surface preparation or alternative materials. At SIGNHAUS, we assess your space and recommend high-quality print materials designed for both large feature walls and smaller accent areas.
  • Do vehicle wraps damage the original paint?

When professionally installed and removed, vehicle wraps do not damage factory paint. Quality vinyl from brands like 3M and Avery Dennison is designed to protect the surface underneath. Proper removal techniques prevent paint lifting. At SIGNHAUS, our certified installers ensure safe application and removal for long-term vehicle care.
  • Can graphic design services help with rebranding?

Yes, professional graphic design is essential for creating cohesive logos, branding, and visual assets during a rebrand. At SIGNHAUS, our team works closely with clients to translate ideas into polished designs backed by over 30 years of combined experience. We ensure clarity, impact, and consistency across all signage and marketing materials.
  • What types of businesses benefit most from storefront window graphics?

Retail shops, restaurants, salons, and service businesses benefit by attracting foot traffic and communicating promotions or hours. Window graphics enhance visibility while maintaining a professional look. At SIGNHAUS, we design custom vinyl that matches existing branding and helps Tri-Cities businesses stand out in competitive local markets.
  • What kinds of fees can I expect with my project?

All projects that require design or recreation incur an $85 an hour design fee. All projects that require installation incur an $85 an hour labor fee. All projects that require installation on a vehicle or equipment must be cleaned 24 hours in advance, with no wax, or they incur a cleaning fee. Small vehicles and equipment have a cleaning fee of $100, and large vehicles and equipment have a cleaning fee of $250. All card transactions have a card fee of 4% in person and over the phone. We will inform you prior to project completion of any other changes to cost regarding work load or unexpected installation fees.
